Here are five great tips to remember when wearing your flower hair clips.

1. Start by creating the hair style you want and then adding your favourite flower for a splash of colour and life.  For complicated hair styles, style your hair first, using whatever products and accessories are necessary, and then when your hair is how you’d like it, add the flower hair clip.

2. If your hair is particularly clean and thin, and therefore possibly slippery, consider spraying a small amount of hair spray on the location you plan to add place the flower hair clip.  This will add some texture to your hair and make the hair clip less likely to slip.  Let the hairspray dry before adding the flower hair clip to your hair.

3. Avoid getting any hair products directly on the flower, as the flower can collect hair products and then dust.  When it comes to rain, don’t worry; it’s okay if your flower gets wet because it will dry on its own.

4. Consider wearing the flower in the biologically correct position if it’s the type of flower that has a top and a bottom, like orchids.  Naturally, orchids grow like this:

5. If any of the flower’s petals happen to fray over time, simply trim them with sharp scissors for a new, clean look.
