Greater Victoria Animal Crusaders

About: GVAC promotes spaying and neutering companion animals, runs a foster and adoption program, cares for feral cat colonies, provides financial assistance to low income families to help with spay/neuter costs, and rehabilitates injured and rescued animals. GVAC is a registered charity that is 100% volunteer-run.

Mexi-Can Vet Project

About: Twice yearly veterinarians and veterinary technicians from McKenzie Veterinary Services and other vet clinics in British Columbia participate in free spay and neuter clinics in the Jaltemaba Bay area in Nayarit, Mexico. The team takes with them enough surgical and medical supplies to perform up to 200 surgeries per clinic.
